Rest in peace dear friend

Sadly, Louis Naudi passed away yesterday night (Thursday 9th September 2004). He will be immensely missed. May he rest in peace. May his family find courage and solstice.

We now have a friend who can intervene for us in heaven. Egoistically we all preferred him on earth. God had other plans.

Louis Naudi Update

Well, unfortunately, it is still bad news that I have to give you. He is still in some kind of coma after a stroke that he suffered. The doctors are very pessimistic and wonder how he is still alive. They do not think there is chance for improvement! Nevertheless your prayers are still needed...never give up hoping. I won't.

Louis Naudi update

The last thing I heard regarding Louis Naudi's condition: same as last week. From what I get it seems that he is in some kind of intermittent coma. At times he is conscious and at other times he is not.
Keep praying please.

I spoke too soon!

Re the previous entry - Coming soon - I think it should read "I speak too soon" instead. Yes. That's how musicans are treated in Malta unfortunately.
We phoned the manager to ask when we shall start...and he made us contact someone else (a known entertainment personality so I won't mention his name here)...who said "That particular function is still pending". That usually is manager-speak for...translating..."We do not need your services but we would like you to keep the day vacant for us, just in case something else crops up".

Well until they prove me wrong I am considering the gig cancelled.

So hope to see you at weddings because that's what we have for the time being.
