Happy Christmas to all

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy Christmas. Acoustika will not be playing anywhere for the Christmas/New Year season because the Holiday Inn Crown Plaza are having different functions for the eves instead of us. Well, we hope to see some of you there soon. Unfortunately we have recently learned that the Holiday Inn Crown Plaza will be pulled down in March. That means that our adventure there will not last much long. I sure hope that in the meantime we will find somewhere else as an alternative.

I am presently trying to create a repertoire with CD's as backing music because George Pollacco is rather reluctant to play frequent gigs. I on the other hand, want to play as much as possible...firstly because I need the money and secondly because I need to keep in touch with the music scene and, I have to admit it, I love the attention.

Well, hope for the best. Cya.

Puzzle of the day from perplexus.info:
Do not say ONE (Difficulty: 3 of 5)

This curious game was invented by Princeton mathematician John H. Conway.

Two players take turns naming positive integers, but an integer is off limits if it's the sum of nonnegative multiples of integers already been named.
Once 1 is named, everything is off limits (because no new positive integer can be named).

A player forced to name "1" - i.e. having no other choice loses the game.

Devise a winning strategy for the 1st player.
