I spoke too soon!

Re the previous entry - Coming soon - I think it should read "I speak too soon" instead. Yes. That's how musicans are treated in Malta unfortunately.
We phoned the manager to ask when we shall start...and he made us contact someone else (a known entertainment personality so I won't mention his name here)...who said "That particular function is still pending". That usually is manager-speak for...translating..."We do not need your services but we would like you to keep the day vacant for us, just in case something else crops up".

Well until they prove me wrong I am considering the gig cancelled.

So hope to see you at weddings because that's what we have for the time being.
